Randy Paul is a litigation partner of Berding & Weil. He brings to the firm almost fifty years of experience as a trial attorney. He has been awarded the highest "av" rating by Martindale Hubbell. He has been named a Northern California SuperLawyer each of the years since its inception. In addition, Randy has been inducted as a member of the American Board of Trial Advocates, the premier nationwide organization which recognizes those who have tried cases to jury verdict.
Mr. Paul has represented a wide range of clients in cases involving highly complex technical and legal issues. The scope of these matters includes professional liability, construction defects, real estate, toxic liability and class actions. His background as an engineer assists in evaluating the technical issues often the focus in our cases and in working with the experts who testify regarding those issues. For over twenty years, Mr. Paul's practice has focused on the representation of property owners in large scale construction defect and property damage litigation throughout California and other states. He is one of the few attorneys who have actually tried construction defect cases to jury verdict, giving him a unique perspective from which to evaluate a client's case. Mr. Paul also takes pride in advising clients on ancillary issues involving post-litigation reconstruction, governmental approvals, contract administration and disclosure requirements.
