Ms. Young Sutton is an attorney with Berding|Weil in the corporate counsel department. She provides a wide range of general counsel services to community associations, including the analysis and interpretation of governing documents, conducting contract review and negotiations, drafting legal opinions, evaluating compliance with the Davis-Stirling Common Interest Development Act, and advising on issues concerning the day-to-day operations of associations.
Ms. Young Sutton received her Juris Doctorate with a certificate of specialization in intellectual property from Whittier Law School and her Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and also Communications from California State University, Fullerton.

Prior to joining Berding|Weil, Ms. Young Sutton worked as In-House Counsel for a national property management company. During her time there, she provided general legal advice and guidance on internal legal matters, including those related to contracts, compliance, insurance, corporate governance, risk management, and transactions undertaken by the public company.
