Scott W. Barton is General Counsel to the firm and has more than twenty-five years of experience as a trial attorney. He has been awarded the highest rating ("av") by Martindale Hubbell a national attorney rating service, and selected as a Northern California Super Lawyer in 2014. Mr. Barton represents a wide range of clients in both litigation and transactional matters involving highly complex technical and legal issues. The scopes of these matters include construction defects, real estate and contracts.
Mr. Barton's practice focuses on the representation of commercial and residential property owners in large scale construction defect litigation throughout California and Nevada. This representation includes advising clients on ancillary issues involving post-litigation reconstruction, contracts and disclosure requirements.
