Working with large homeowner associations (in excess of 3200 members) which operate much like cities and require legal advice on a myriad of issues beyond those of a typical non-profit homeowners association.
Since I have many years of handling both construction defect litigation, and general counsel matters for very large homeowner associations, I consider myself a utility player for the firm that can lend a hand wherever needed
When I first started practicing law in the late 80's, construction defect litigation was an emerging area of the law in Southern California. This was due to the housing boom and the application of strict liability to construction defect claims. I was fascinated by this emerging area of the law.
