Ms. Richards joined Berding| Weil's Litigation team in 2004. Prior to that she worked for a defense firm whose practice focused on Asbestos litigation.
Lisa has been involved with cases throughout the greater bay area as well as in Alpine regions. She is familiar with various city and county practices, ordinances, and codes. She also has a great working relationship with the California Department of Real Estate.
Lisa works closely with various experts during the investigation phase and provides them with the relevant case documents. She has helped facilitate invasive testing on hundreds of units and is a great advocate and liaison between the homeowners and defense counsel. She has extensive research experience and is well versed in the review and analysis of construction and insurance documents. She has helped prepare expert and percipient witnesses for deposition and trial testimony. Lisa has prepared for numerous trials and has carried out a wide range of responsibilities from coordinating logistics with the court clerk to trial presentations.
Lisa received her B.A. in Liberal Arts from Menlo College.
